Overview

Mountain Majesty is a perfect getaway destination to connect with your friends and family.  This is a private location set on more than an acre of land with approximately 350 of water frontage.  The camp sits on a small point where water can be seen on three sides. This point is aptly named sunset point as it’s positioned for outstanding sunsets.  A private soft sand beach is tucked into a small cove where the only other camp that may be seen while sitting at water’s edge is on Oak Island about 0.3 miles out in front of the camp.  The camp itself is approximately 2200 square feet with both bathrooms on the second floor.  Access is through a large entry door into a spacious mudroom and from there you enter the open living room and kitchen area.  From the living room there is a front porch for enjoying the lake and a side room with lots of windows, extra sleeping, and a sitting space for relaxing away from the main common areas.  Upstairs are two large bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony for enjoying the outdoors.

This a family camp.  The environment here is quiet and peaceful.  We desire to keep it that way and respect our wonderful neighbors.  While we want guests to enjoy themselves if you are seeking a location to host a party and be loud we respectfully ask that you look elsewhere for accommodations.

 
There are two permanent docks for enjoying the lake and views, please use caution with young children as these are out over the water.

While we do have WiFi, in an effort to encourage all of us to be present and connect with our loved ones and the natural world we DO NOT offer a TV at Mountain Majesty.  

There is plenty of parking and space behind the camp to enjoy the outdoors out of the wind on those blustery days. 

Beach toys for the kids and canoes, life jackets and paddles are available for guest use.

For the safety of our guests and the security of our camp there are outdoor cameras at key locations.  There is a ring camera at the main entry door and ring camera as part of the flood light at the peak above the main entry door overlooking the side yard and driveway.  Additionally, there are two game cameras at the driveway entrance.  There are NO cameras inside the property.  

As much as we love pets, we unfortunately are not able to allow them as part of a reservation.  We are very sorry about this & hope you understand!
